FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1.       What age do you start taking dancers and what class do they take?

I start taking dancers at age 3 and they take a combination class of tap, ballet and creative expression. Usually the 3 year old class is 1/2 hour long. Then the 4 year olds take a combo class that lasts 45 minutes.

2.       Can my dancer start at any time during the year?

Dance studios generally run on a school year basis. It is best for the dancer to begin the dance year in September. If there is room in a class a dancer may join in October, but starting later in the year is not recommended because the dancer has missed the steps and technique that the others learned thus making it difficult and often frusterating. Unfortunately, a dancer is unable to join a class from December  on and need to wait until the next dance year in Sept.
